Eggler Consulting Engineers is delighted to announce the launch of its latest specialist military vehicle technology course: Systems Engineering – In Practice (AFV Design Workshop). This specialist and unique five-day training course teaches students how to successfully design a armoured fighting vehicle using the systems engineering method. Students learn what to do, and then uses a series of guided workshops, practice how to do it.
The course case study focuses on the development of a new armoured fighting vehicle. Using a defined methodology, participants are guided through the key systems engineering design steps of operational analysis, requirements development, architecture design, functional analysis, design and synthesis. With the focus on ‘learning-by-doing’, students use the Capability Architect software suite to build their own repository of requirements, components, interfaces and links, including traceability between design artifacts. Students produce drafts of the key systems engineering design documentation, including operational concepts, functional specifications, interface control documents, a system specifications and a range of system engineering management products.
This new and exciting course is now available and further information available by emailing [email protected] or our website here.
