General
All the learning materials used in the Eggler Institute of Technology (EIT) on-demand, onsite and live-online courses is copyright. Apart from any use as permitted under the Australian Copyright Act 1968, you agree that no part of this learning material may be reproduced by any process without prior written permission from EIT.
Limitation of Liability/Disclaimer. While the EIT has used its best endeavours in preparing its learning material, it makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the contents of this course and specifically disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The advice and strategies contained in any online learning course may not be suitable for your situation. You should consult a professional where appropriate.
EIT shall not be liable for any loss of profit or any other commercial damages, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential, or any other damages.
By enrolling in a course, you acknowledge that all presentations, videos, quizzes, tutorials, exams, technical reports, drawings, surveys, example calculations, models and documents are subject to copyright and will not be used in any other way than for personal education and the purposes of completing a on-demand, onsite or live-online course. Any breach of copyright will be subject to legal action.
Onsite, Live-online and Public Courses
1. A booking for training will only be processed on receipt of a signed copy of the quotation accepting the terms and conditions and payment of a 50% deposit, unless otherwise agreed.
2. An invoice for payment will be forwarded upon receipt of the accepted quotation.
3. The outstanding payment balance (50%) is due in full no later than 28 calendar days before the commencement of training. Payment method is by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) only into the bank account nominated on the EIT invoice. Cheques are not accepted.
4. Payment by credit card incurs a 2.7% surcharge on top of the invoiced amount.
5. Course cancellation by a client 21 or less calendar days before the first day of the course incurs the full course fee.
6. Cancellations received 22 to 27 calendar days before the first day of the course incur an administration fee of USD $500. The deposit less the cancellation fees will be returned within 10 working days into a client’s nominated bank account. A cancellation received 28 calendar days before the first day of the course will be refunded in full within 10 working days. If payment has been by credit card, then any credit card fees paid by EIT will be deducted from the refund amount.
7. If EIT cancels a public course that has been paid via creditcard, then the client will receive a full refund, in the same currency of payment, less any charges imposed by the credit card provider. Otherwise the course payment will be refuded in full.
8. Cancellations requested by a client or transfers must be in writing by email or letter.
9. Customs and import duties/taxes on the training folders and books, if applicable, are payable by the client.
On-demand Courses
All payments are in US dollars (USD) using a credit card or any other form of payment accepted by EIT. Once payment is made through the website, no refunds will be provided by EIT.
Where textbooks are mandated within an on-demand course, students are responsible for the purchase of that textbook, unless otherwise arranged with EIT.
